A Cell Type Specific Transcriptome-Based Polygenic Risk Score for Major Depressive Disorder
Cell type specific tPRS for MDD in adolescents
Our aim is to elucidate the contributions of specific neuronal cell types in the transcription of genes associated with major depressive disorder in adolescents via the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development study and PsychENCODE. We will produce transcriptome-based polygenic risk scores for different cell types, with a focus on sex-specific differences in depression.
